Global credit insurer Atradius has opened a new office in Hong Kong creating a base to service customers in Asia and grow its presence across the region. The opening coincides with the granting of the licence by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner for Atradius to carry out Credit Insurance business in Hong Kong.

As Asia continues to thrive as an important business and finance centre, both regionally and internationally, Atradius sees strategically placed Hong Kong as the perfect springboard for its plans in the region. The prestigious offices at Central Plaza, Harbour Road in Wanchai, will become Atradius’ regional headquarters, supporting existing offices in Shanghai, Tokyo and Mumbai, as well as our Dubai office.

Plans are also underway to strengthen Atradius’ position in markets such as Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia. We are also reviewing opportunities in other Asian markets.

The Hong Kong office will offer the expert underwriting skills and excellent customer service that Atradius is known for worldwide. With an expert team dedicated to Asia, Atradius will be able to provide even greater in-depth knowledge of the region, as well as analysis and support for all businesses.
