Introduction
The Copper Horse GBR Series showcases the highest level of ski racing on UK artificial slopes, with five races taking place at outdoor facilities and five on indoor snow. The events offer competitors the chance to participate in top-quality ski races across various age groups, from under 10 through to Masters level.
Featuring some of the UK’s most promising skiers, some expected to go on to Olympic level, the Series gives them a chance to participate in regular ski races at exceptional standard. All events are sanctioned by the Home Nations Governing Bodies with Snowsport England, Snowsport Scotland and Snowsport Wales, all hosting races.

Opportunity
Cyber security leaders Copper Horse have become the Series’ title sponsors, identifying an opportunity to build a brand to drive the most exciting event series in British skiing. LGT’s job was to create a unifying identity and brand fitting a bold new vision.
Uniting the identity is a new icon. Combining the Union Jack with a snow crystal to create a unifying symbol, both swiftly recognisable and an embodiment of benchmarked distinction for competitive excellence. The simplicity of the mark helps the Series build strategic brand gravitas, whilst being easily replicable both digitally, on merchandise, kit, and race day collateral equally, delivering equity.
In amplifying and harmonising their presence with the Series, the colour palette and supporting key assets are adopted from Copper Horse’s brand. This, in tandem with the introduction of typefaces DIN Condensed and Coplestons, by Pretend Foundry, brings a modern edge with athletic pedigree to the brand.
Delivery
Along with event signage, podiums, medals, trophies, competitor bibs, and merch, we delivered a comprehensive brand book and asset guide alongside Canva templates, enabling the Governing Bodies in-house social and marketing teams to activate the brand cohesively across each of their platforms.
We are delighted. Our new brand will help influence the development of the competition, drive interest and support increased participation in snow sports across the UK.
